What initially drew you to Goizueta Business School?
I was drawn to Goizueta because of the environment it creates for learning and growth. During the application process, I spoke with several current students and got a genuine sense of how collaborative and engaging the program is. What stood out most was how closely the experience mirrors a real-world work environment – working in teams, tackling practical problems, and learning from professors who have actually built careers in the industry. Combined with access to such a strong and supportive alumni network, it made the decision a very easy one for me.
What has been your most memorable experience during your time at Goizueta?
My most memorable experience at Goizueta was finals week, which might sound surprising. In undergrad, finals were usually something you handled on your own since everyone had different schedules. At Goizueta, it was completely different – everyone came together, studied as a group, and supported each other through a challenging week. That experience really highlighted how tight-knit the program is and how invested people are in each other’s success.
How has your Goizueta education prepared you for your next career step?

My education at Goizueta has been very influential to my professional development. The program has done a fantastic job of getting me up to speed with the financial markets, financial statement analysis, and modeling – all crucial skills that I will need as an investment banking analyst at BDO Capital Advisors
What advice would you give to incoming students in your program?
Be personable and stay intellectually curious. One of the most valuable things you can do is put yourself out there – reach out to alumni, connect with classmates, and take the time to learn from professors who have real industry experience. The more proactive you are, the more you’ll get out of the program. At the same time, don’t just focus on checking boxes, focus on actually understanding what you’re learning and how it applies in the real world.
What’s one piece of advice you received at Goizueta that you’ll carry with you throughout your career?
One piece of advice that has really stuck with me is: “Be able to add value in any room you’re in.” With how quickly things are evolving – especially with the rise of AI – it’s not enough to just show up. You need to bring something meaningful to the table, whether that’s a perspective, an idea, or an ability to execute. That advice shifted my mindset from just focusing on getting opportunities to making sure I’m actually contributing wherever I am.
How do you plan to stay connected with the Goizueta community after graduation?
I plan to stay actively involved by maintaining relationships with classmates, engaging with the alumni network, and supporting current students however I can. I’ve been fortunate to have peers and mentors who have helped me along the way, and I’d like to pay that forward. Whether that’s through mentorship, sharing experiences, or simply staying connected, I want to remain an active part of the Goizueta community.
