It’s over! My two years at Goizueta have come to an end, and as I write this, I have already received my diploma and am now part of the Emory alumni base.

I’m super excited for this time of the year since Atlanta has so much to offer! I’ve only had one spring here so far, but it’s got me looking forward to the next few months.
Coming into school, I knew I wanted to pursue a finance-oriented career, so it only made sense to concentrate in finance.
What comes to mind when you think about what you get from business school? The degree itself? The educational experience? The great people you meet, the amazing professors you learn from or the careers you start? All the above, and then some!
Atlanta: what I consider to be the capital of the South. During my time at Goizueta, I have never come close to running out of things to do in this city.
One thing that you’re sure to find at any business school is group work, and Goizueta is no different in this aspect. Class projects are an integral part of the curriculum, and I would say that most classes at Goizueta have some sort of team element to them.
It’s the fall semester, and that can only mean one thing at Goizueta: RECRUITING! Whether second-years or one-years recruiting for full-time roles, or first-years preparing for diversity conferences and career treks, a big chunk of the student population is prepping for the next steps in their careers. This could include refining their resumes, preparing their elevator pitches, working on Situation, Task, Action, Result (STAR) stories or making constant visits to the Career Management Center.
